Job Description

We are seeking a Product Owner for Dynamic Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in Intelligent Operations IT Data & Analytics products team in Warsaw.

You will work in team of data architects, data and AI engineers, product owners and other enabling roles to build an in-house Dynamic CMDB solution for the enterprise use, which is a foundational capability in driving P&G’s Operational Excellence Transformation for resilient business operations at scale.

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining product strategy, identifying, and prioritizing customer needs into a roadmap, stakeholder management and overseeing product development. Also, you will play CMDB subject matter expert role for P&G including Configuration Item discovery tools, physical and business topology data in Dynamic CMDB, data integration to downstream systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customer/user needs & requirements and translating them into user stories that are valuable, feasible, and usable to be prioritized in the product backlog

  • Guiding the product team on “what” should be built, influencing data and solution design based on product customer use-cases

  • Setting the priorities for a digital product and creating a roadmap that maximizes business value and aligns with engineering capacity

  • Being subject matter expert and “go-to” person in relation to the product and its ecosystem

  • Commercializing and communicating digital product roadmap/features/activation status to the stakeholders

  • Contributing to scrum ceremonies, and working with scrum teams to bring digital product to life

Job Qualifications

General:

  • Bachelor/master's degree in one of the following fields: statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, information technology

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team to establish and achieve product goals and deliver roadmap; history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences; demonstrated experience engaging with Business partners

  • Data Analytics and Data Management skills or understanding, i.e., Master data, Data Standardization, Data modelling

  • Passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the data management and CMDB domains

Technical:

  • SQL and Python programming skills

  • Cloud technologies understanding, specifically Microsoft Azure stack (including Databricks, Data Factory, AAS, etc.)

  • Previous experience with or understanding of Graph databases
