The Marketing technologists are key people to drive digital transformation working hand-in-hand with business partners. They present strong IT knowledge and business mindset. They work across analytics & insights, data strategy & activation, platform integration & activation, business & technology innovation, and leadership. Engage seamlessly across marketing and media organizations typically from ABM to Brand Director level. Lead more creation of new business models and codification of processes and capabilities. Act as a SPOC between marketing and IT and builds capability in the organization.

Marketing Technologist’s role involves the following responsibilities:

  • Systems Integration & Architecture: solid technical understanding of the ecosystem involved in driving eBusiness growth (WebPresence, Mobile, CRM, AdTech, CDP, social media) and the system integrations required to drive omni-channel business value, including Architecture.

  • Data Strategy and Activation: drive and activate consumer-centric data strategies, ensuring the right set of technological and architectural choices leading to Data integration, enrichment and activation. Understands data structure, sufficiency, quality, compliance, business fit and flows across involved systems.

  • Analytics: deliver real-time insights that improve our KPIs, advise on new business models and optimize e-Business operations. Partner with Data Science to operationalize algorithms based on Big Data modelling.

  • Automation: leverage technology for automated data fetching, processing, aggregation & syndication (ie API, JSON) leading to real-time information flows and democratization of data access.

  • Stewardship for GDPR, info-security and Privacy.

  • Business transformation: Solid understanding of business strategies, goals and processes, and how technology can positively impact and transform them.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Able to effectively partner multi-functionally to drive business impact.

  • Lead agile IT innovation, bringing technological disruptions into the P&G ecosystem for better e-Business results.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications (Expected):

  • Proven experience in the digital marketing industry with core experiences in the Marketing Technology stack or Marketing data & analytics with knowledge built across more than one domain

  • Proven leadership of marketing technology domain areas and/or brands or brand programs.

  • Proven project management capabilities

  • Strong business verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Certifications related to digital marketing, such as the Online Marketing Certified Associate (OMCA)

  • Experience with using and working with data as a strategic choice for the business to identify use cases to build the business and fill gaps in data, processes, and systems to realize the value

  • Strong experience in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Google Ads

  • Strong Analytics skills including tools such as KNIME, Python, Power BI, and Tableau

  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Word

  • Multiple experiences working in any of the digital marketing domain areas (i.e. Direct to Consumer Selling, eCommerce, Consumer Relationship Marketing (CRM), Search (SEM, SEO, Analytics), Web/Mobile Digital Presence & Traffic Generation, Digital Media & Programmatic Media Buying, Social Insights and Analytics, Content Management)
