JOB DESCRIPTION
The Graphic Specialist role reports through the Design Intent Production team in the AW DTP Platform. The Graphics Specialist partners with Design Leaders and Brand to execute design development as envisioned by Design/Brand. This role is responsible for producing Digital Templates and graphic adaptations meeting Design Intent expectations. The Graphics Specialist’s execution meets quality standards and consistent visualization across all product forms and variants on shelf. The Graphic Specialist is a strong collaborator within the Design Intent Production team closely working with Pre-Press specialists and the AW Flow team.
This role requires a fundamental understanding of design, brand identity, design standards and regulatory style guidelines, combined with a deep understanding of graphic file construction and supply chain fit-for-use requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver Design Intent Production KPIs on target: AW on Design Intent, On-Time Production, Qualitative In-Market Complaints, Quality Incident Rate
Execute with excellence and on Design Intent graphics adaptations and Digital Templates, including mapping, creation, and approval of Digital Templates in the Assembly Automation Tool (Veraciti).
Govern and manage asset library.
Own the multi-functional approval process for Digital Templates
Executes Quality Control checks.
Adapt and produce minor graphic assets in-house in partnership with Brand and Design
Ensures regulatory style guidelines have been applied.
Implement Design Intent change management and resolve quality issues.
Proactively explores productivity opportunities.
Job Qualifications
Degree in graphic design, print production or related field.
Previous experience in graphic or print production.
Proficiency in Graphic Design Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Indesign etc.
Strong understanding of brand architecture, design language/identity systems, equity assets and application of design principles to achieve visual consistency.
Ability to quickly assess design concepts.
Ability to adapt and apply design intent across variants, diverse product forms, substrates and various print processes through the approval process for representative artworks.
English proficiency, verbal and written.
Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
