Overview of the Job

Join our team and become an integral part of our high-profile project! We are seeking a dedicated SAP Security professional who can develop in-depth technical knowledge of SAP role development and the role upgrade processes. Work with other projects that may impact the ASIA S/4 HANA migration and ensure alignment with global role changes within the dynamic Asia project landscape. Represent our security workstream in the overall security change management process, supervising and assessing newly submitted change requests to resolve if security role changes are needed. Engage security vendor resources to provide comprehensive impact assessments, and present your assessment during project Change Advisory Board calls to acquire change approvals.

Take your technical expertise in the SAP Security space for role development to the next level. Address questions, issues, and defects throughout the project, seizing these opportunities to expand your knowledge base. Engage in shadowing and learning sessions with our vendor resources and become the go-to person for resolving security-related technical issues!

How success looks like

In the realm of risk acceptance, review and understand the risks identified in previous migration projects and ensure accurate remediation for the Asia region. Collaborate with security project vendors to acquire key data from SAP system landscapes.

We are also looking for a candidate who can excel in the role of conflicting capabilities and control abilities, specifically in the area of Separation of Duties. Take ownership of the identification and analysis of all Conflicting Capabilities / Controlled Abilities (CC/CA) using established processes. Coordinate with the Security Weaver team for CC/CA data download in the ASIA SAP Non-production environment. Conduct workshops involving business experts and key resources to make informed decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of risks. Provide a detailed summary of the Segregation of Duties analysis, including risks and mitigation actions.

At our company, we value SAP Application Security expertise, with familiarity in S/4 HANA upgrade processes. You will be able to put your problem-solving and "troubleshooting" skills into action. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are crucial, as you will work closely with vendors and multi-functional teams. Relevant certifications in related fields are a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in SAP security, including understanding of SAP authorization concepts, roles, profiles, and user administration.

  • Familiarity with SAP security components, such as SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and SAP Security Notes.

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing SAP security policies, roles, authorizations, and user provisioning.

  • Understanding of SAP systems architecture and landscape.

  • Knowledge of SAP application modules and their security requirements

  • Knowledge of segregation of duties (SoD) concepts and experience in implementing and managing SoD controls in SAP environments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve SAP security issues and vulnerabilities.

  • Ability to analyze complex security requirements, assess risks, and develop appropriate security strategies and solutions.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving security-related incidents or breaches.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP administrators, developers, auditors, and business users.
