Overview of the job

As P&G expands its Corporate Quality Assurance (CQA) Team in Manila, we are looking for DevOps Engineers who are passionate in building automations, coding, scripting, and growing their technical and IT leadership skills. You will be part of the Corporate Quality Assurance IT Organization that owns and is accountable for the delivery of automation capabilities following DevOps and Agile Practices, to support P&G’s QA business processes.

The Corporate QA Digital Quality (DQ) team is a group of digital experts tasked to solve challenging Quality problems by integrating intelligence into our information systems. Our mission is embodied in our work of crafting scaled digital solutions and connecting enterprise data with our QA Teams globally to achieve real-time touchless quality. We bring digital capabilities to the forefront of business transformation for our 65 iconic trusted brands to help P&G win with the over 5 billion consumers we serve worldwide.

Your team

This role reports to the CQA DevOps Leader and will work with a team in Manila as well as in other P&G sites, supporting our CQA Applications and Automation Solutions.

How success looks like

You will be a major contributor to developing, maintaining, and improving our CQA automation capabilities in an agile manner. You will leverage your software engineering, coding, and scripting skills to continuously grow and support our automation portfolio.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement CI/CD stack

  • Enables the use of a Modern Application Development framework (including design thinking, agile project management, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD) methods and tools) with our Software Engineers.

  • Continuously look for opportunities to build more efficient DevOps processes using automation, new tools, and exploring new CI/CD platforms.

  • Provide engineering support for assigned tools and coordinate with other support teams, whether it is external or owned by internal product owners.

  • Execution and improvement of ITIL Processes including change management, upgrades, capacity, and performance management.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other related fields

  • Practical and hands-on experience in automating software development.

  • Hands-on experience configuring CI/CD tools

  • Practical knowledge of software development processes.

  • Experience with SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong aim to continuously learn and grow technical mastery

  • Intermediate to sophisticated English language, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience with software development and automations

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python Programming

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, etc.), RPA, and KNIME

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration (e.g., Function Apps, Key Vault, Databricks, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of code management through GitHub

  • Strong understanding of automated testing framework

  • Understands CI/CD tools and familiar working in a DevOps environment.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and non-technical colleagues.

  • Certified on one or more of the following: DevOps Foundation, Professional Scrum Master (PSM1), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO1), Microsoft Azure AZ-104
