Are you looking to take your design career to the next level?

We are looking for a talented Architect to lead Architecture and Design Management for a multi-year P&G Campus Building Program in Germany! You will remodel, build new and shape a sustainable Innovation Campus meeting the Companies 2040 vision. This role reports into GBS (Global Business Services) – Digital Workplace & Facility Services, an organisation of approximately 300 people within P&G who support P&G Facilities, Real Estate and IT employee-facing solutions and service delivery Globally across our sites.

You will be responsible for design delivery to the Building Program Manager, leading multidisciplinary internal and external project teams on Facilities Projects.

By collaborating with external parties such as JLL, Design Agencies, Construction teams, and P&G Workplace Services site leaders, you will drive the design process and ensure it get built. You will build and evolve the future of a key P&G site making it a world class sustainable R&D campus.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Architect & Design Management

Personally lead internal/external design teams for a major Building Program consisting of several sub projects both new building and remodelling. Accountable for efficiently managing through the sequential phases of the design process: feasibility study, design brief and success criteria, basis of design, detailed design, bidding process, execution & shop drawing reviews, permitting and close out of projects.

Senior Stakeholder management

Drive design alignment with multi functional stakeholders and management teams. Clearly communicate design process, milestones and decisions needed. Responsible for design communication.

Construction Oversight as owner Architect

Ensure construction meets design intent, review progress on site, design input to construction partners, manage and direct design partners on the same.

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Architecture - experience for Corporate interiors is a plus.

  • 10 yrs. Demonstrated experience in design management for building projects, covering all phases of a design process and spanning across the multiple building & technical disciplines involved.

  • Experience in German market, HOAI and DGNB is a plus.

  • Aptitude to learn basic technical concepts in Building Technical design for Electrical, HVAC, Fire Protection.

  • Ability to connect and integrate design management with project management requiring knowledge of PM processes and systems such as: schedule, cost control, quality, and safety.

  • Experience on construction sites to ensure execution meets design intent.

  • Ability to translate complex business and corporate objectives into an architectural design brief for capital projects and to simplify complex situations into actionable decision-making steps for building projects.

  • Demonstrated communication and influencing skills to lead effective decision making with higher levels of management.

  • Experience in managing several external partners for design projects.

  • Fluent in English and German
