The Opportunity

Sacramento Chemicals is seeking an experienced Site Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic and diverse team. This role will support the HR Department and Plant Leadership Team, helping them manage their time effectively and stay organized so they can lead the organization and deliver on business initiatives.

The Ideal Site Administrative Assistant will be able to:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day work systems and tasks to support the HR Department and multiple Plant Leaders with their various organization needs.

  • Must be well-versed in technical office tools and software applications, calendar management, and coordinating travel and business meetings.

  • Supports the business by proactively managing projects and enabling other team members to do their jobs.

  • Spearheading a variety of advanced administrative and financial duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and ability to quickly learn the Company policies and practices.

  • Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage the travel schedules of the leadership team, occasionally work various hours and work in full autonomy and with a high sense of initiative.

  • Manage and coordinate frequent site events, both internal and externally.

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of events for visits from Directors, Sr. Directors, VPs, SVPs, and other various leaders.

  • Manage and maintain technical systems including SharePoint, Site Communications, Newsletters, TV Monitors, and other IT related systems.

  • Responsible for managing and ordering food, snacks, gifts, and other various supplies to ensure seamless operations and enhance employee satisfaction within the organization.

  • Managing full cycle employee data and organization administration, including, but not limited to, transaction processing and support, HR program and compliance administration and answering employee and manager inquiries.

  • Responsible for site payroll and other systems, including but not limited to Unemployment, terminations, payroll entries, and maintaining various reports.

  • Manage recruitment process, coordinate onsite interviews, schedule interviews and manage new hire onboarding schedules.

  • Provide administrative support to HR Director for various employee and labor relations activities.

  • Providing direction to employees/leaders, as well as ensuring deadlines are met.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Passionate in helping our employees perform at their peak.

  • Comfortable engaging with employees at all levels, possibly their families and external candidates.

  • Administrative specialist with the ability to manage collaborative tools effectively. Provide support across the site and work closely with the HR Director to ensure that the site is operating at its peak by utilizing updated systems, policies, and processes.

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience or other HR related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with HR Software Systems; strong Microsoft Office 365 Suite acumen, SharePoint creation/maintenance, and Timekeeping system knowledge is highly preferred.

  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Dynamics, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
