Overview of the job

Supports daily hands-on operational excellence for the assigned Products, with in-source setup. Executes success and process measures according to SLI, SLO, SLA. Performs changes and upgrades to existing products and ensuring regular maintenance. Works with the Product Team to plan what user will be included in each sprint.

Your team

This role is under the DevOps Senior Team Lead, who is based in Costa Rica. This is for a global solution so you will be working in the DevOps IT team in P&G in which you will partner with business leaders, technical experts and product managers globally to excel in operations support and provide business value by delivering new features for the solution.

How success looks like

  • You fully understand technology solution in an intimate level in a way that you can provide technical support for complex incidents and engage a deeper conversation with the technical delivery teams and external software vendor.

  • You provide recommendations to optimize cost and performance of the overall solution as well as follow best-in class software practices to ensure the quality of the code.

  • You can follow and complete the full lifecycle of software management to develop, test, deploy and back out code when needed.

  • You maintain the Service Level Agreement metrics established within the team to guarantee the best user experience with the tool and accurately communicate in business terms technical issues and their root cause.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Resolve incidents raised to the team while following the SLAs established and maintaining the user updated of the progress.

  • Maintain systems processes, including the delivery of weekly, daily, monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.

  • Develop new features, requirements in the tool or expand the scope of the tool as prioritized and aligned with the Product Owner to increase adoption of the solution and improve UI/UX.

  • Pioneer initiatives to reduce cost of infrastructure and/or for performance optimization or Continuous Improvements ideas that can enhance the product.

  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements

  • Experience implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure Cloud provider.

  • Proficiency in Python programming language.

  • Demonstrated skills in databases and data modeling or experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, Beam). Experience writing optimized SQL queries.

  • Experience developing and supporting Power BI reports.

  • Passion about writing high-quality, clean, effective code.

  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
