Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join our pharmaceutical QC lab team in Indonesia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our pharmaceutical products through meticulous testing, analysis, and documentation.Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sampling of environment (air, water, utilities, personnel) and materials (incoming & finished products)

  • Perform microbial tests and assays on raw materials and finished products using established methods and instrumentation

  • Inspect and evaluate microbiological attributes of quality control samples to determine compliance with established quality standards and specifications

  • Accurately record, analyze, and interpret test results, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the testing process

  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring their calibration and optimal working conditions

  • Maintain inventory of QC retention & stability samples

  • Adhere to good laboratory and documentation practices and applicable guidelines

  • Maintain comprehensive records of test methods, procedures, results, and any deviations observed during testing, complying with applicable procedures and standards

  • Perform verification and validation of analytical test methods ensuring accuracy and reliability of analytical data and results

  • Endure timely testing and integrity of data and documentation for product release

  • Maintain hygiene and safety of QC labs

Detailed Responsibilities

  1. Conduct Sampling & Routine Testing: Perform sampling of environment (air, water, utilities, personnel) and materials (incoming & finished products); conduct various analytical tests and assays using established methods and instrumentation.2. Quality Inspection: Inspect and evaluate physiochemical and microbiological attributes of quality control samples to determine compliance with established quality standards and specifications.3. Data Analysis: Accurately record, analyze, and interpret test results, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the testing process.4. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and organized records of test methods, procedures, results, and any deviations observed during testing, in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.5. Instrumentation and Equipment: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including Micro Plate Readers, Air Samplers, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and other analytical instruments, ensuring their calibration and optimal working condition.6. Compliance: Adhere to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and applicable regulatory guidelines while conducting testing and maintaining laboratory practices.7. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing, working collaboratively with the team to ensure accurate results.8. Method Validation: Participate in the validation of analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of testing procedures.9. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of good laboratory processes, procedures, and practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.10. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with hazardous chemicals, reagents, and equipment.

Job Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of working in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory

  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as microbiology, spectroscopy, and microbiological techniques

  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., CPOB, ICH, WHO, PIC/S, ASEAN) and cGMP requirements

  • Strong attention to details and accuracy in recording and interpreting data

  • Good communication skills and able to collaborate with cross functional teams

  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during testing and analysis

  • Knowledge or experience in QC laboratory software and data analysis tools

  • Bilingual in Bahasa and English
