Procter & Gamble Senior Data Architect in Cincinnati, Ohio

Consumers are at the center of everything we do at P&G – and the IT eBusiness team plays a critical role in architecting, designing, building and managing the marketing technology stack for our 80 brands and 4.6 billion consumers around the world. Our scope stretches across front-end touchpoints and back-end applications, consumer engagement and relationship management systems, programmatic advertising and data management, algorithm science and data analytics, connected devices and other digital technology that interact with our consumers.

Our eBusiness team is embarking upon the next generation of cloud-enabled technologies to create deeper, more valuable relationships with our consumers so that they chose to buy P&G products more often – both online and offline. We are looking for a candidate that can build and shape our use of marketing technology, specifically with cloud applications, internal and external API services, consumer data management and data science.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new systems that can consume, understand, and move consumer data throughout the cloud using the agile delivery process • Architect, design, and build enterprise-class relational and dimensional data models • Perform detailed design reviews with product owners, software engineers and business stakeholders • Develop proof-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems • Design and develop continuous integration solutions (CI/CD) • Partner and communicate effectively with stakeholders and multi-functional, global teams • Staying externally connected to leading-edge technologies and innovation opportunities

Qualifications:

• Experience architecting, engineering and operating cloud solutions with Data Platform as a Service capabilities • 5 Years Experience in data modeling, data architecture for near-real time data ingestion, API design, and design of semantic layer • Expertise in one or more object-oriented programming language (e.g. Python, Java) and the eagerness to learn more • Knowledge of Big Data technologies, Hadoop and modern data architectures like Spark and NoSQL structures • Knowledge of Agile development methodology, DevOps, and CI/CD • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, EE or similar field

Preferred:

• Knowledge of container platforms like Docker or Kubernetes, Git / Github • Experience working with data structures, algorithms, distributed storage, database systems (SQL or NoSQL) and data warehouse technologies • Experience with API management solution such as Apigee, Mulesoft, AWS API Gateway, etc • Experience with ETL Tools such as Informatica BDM, etc • Experience in data architecture for handling streaming and batch data within a data warehouse landscape All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, citizenship, HIV/AIDS status or any other legally protected factor.
