A Senior Artwork Copy Expert - supports the artwork copy development and approval process, leading the collection of Brand Packaging Communication and Regulatory Artwork Copy requirements, to enable copy approvals per the Global R&R Matrix and the creation and maintenance of structured Artwork Brand Hierarchies to maximize copy re-use, reduce author/approval touches, provide important business agility. Ownership includes managing overall copy setup and changes required to meet Artwork Project needs. Acts as single point of accountability for the correct structure of POA Master Copy and set-up of countries, languages, and Artwork Usage, for each POA, in line with provided base plan. Owns the collection, creation in RTA, and approval of the marketing copy included on-pack (in coordination with Marketing. Ensures the collection of all other elements that are required to be on pack (example: Regulatory, Legal, Consumer Relations, and R&D (Product Research / Package Development) copy, along with externally regulated symbols.

The purpose of this Artwork Copy Expert (ACE) role is to own the artwork copy development and support the approval process, leading the collection of Brand Packaging Communication and Regulatory Artwork Copy requirements, to enable copy approvals per the Global R&R Matrix and the creation and maintenance of structured Artwork Brand Hierarchies to maximize copy re-use, reduce author/approval touches, provide important business agility. Ownership includes managing overall copy setup and changes required to meet Artwork Project needs. This role will be responsible for ACE work across multiple Fem Care brands.

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is preferred.

Requirements (Skills / Experience) for the role:

  • Attention to detail: Can understand and execute against the criticality of ensuring that everything is consistent throughout the process and feedback quickly and accurately when something is not right. Spends the right time and focus to notice and correct the details and be able to explain why it is critical.

  • Leadership: Acts as a business owner with great sense of urgency and focus on priorities; Operates with Discipline; Demonstrates ownership and accountability; A "can do" attitude is a must; Is able to influence and make data-based timely decisions and manages escalations effectively; Is able to put order in complexity.

  • Technical expertise: Unafraid to learn the RTA (Realtime Artwork) system and become a single point expert. Understand the Business Unit structure (category, brands, product line-up, language clusters) and brand hierarchy; Understands brand equity guidelines and process; Willing to become the Single Point Accountable expert in Artwork, Copy and their components and respective accountable functions. Is willing to learn the Artwork process and linkage to other key processes and interfaces (downstream impacts).

  • Communication: Is collaborative; Leads meetings and communicates effectively to a multi-functional team (both oral and written); Can command attention and provide clear directions to others both internally and externally.

  • Copy: Solid understanding of the artwork copy process, artwork copy components and respective accountable functions in the claim approval process and translation processes. Understands the Design Firm and Brand Visual Execution – Design to Print processes.

  • Overall understanding of Business Unit structure (category, brands, product line-up, language clusters), brand equity and hierarchy.

  • Acts as business owner with sense of urgency and focus on priorities, operates with discipline.

  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability. A ‘can do’ attitude is a must.

  • Can influence and enable data-based and timely decisions,

  • Manages escalations effectively.

  • Works independently, puts order in complexity.

  • Can manage expectations.

  • Comfortable with change/ agility. Ability to learn.

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $64,000-$88,700

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
