You will use electrical, controls and computer systems background; and also build industrial software solutions to digitize manufacturing and enable efficient production.
What do key responsibilities look like? *
Controls Engineer for manufacturing automation
Responsible for power and controls installation, integration and start-up of new process and/or packaging equipment
Own the programming definition, testing, and execution for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) such as ProgrammableLogic Controller (PLCs) and Human-to-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Integrate the Industrial Control Systems with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to provide process monitoring,reliability information and quality control.
Lead electrical VATs (vendor acceptance tests) on purchased equipment.
Provide technical direction to vendors and engineering firms throughout all phases of the project (design throughconstruction and startup).
Provide technical mentorship and support to the manufacturing organization.

If you’re a good fit, you’ll have:
BS/MS Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degrees. We will consider other BS/MS Aeronautical,
Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering degrees with meaningful practical experience in the electrical
3-5 years of electrical engineering work experience.
Willing to travel for business need
We believe you’re a really good fit, you’ll have:
Previous experience in warehouse automation / industrial power and control roles
Allen Bradley ControLogix / PowerFlex / FTView experience
Familiarity with Controls IT networking (i.e. Ethernet IP, virtual machines, etc.)
Leadership – Capable of organizing and delivering PC&IS success criteria on major projects. Able to envision the future needs, enroll others, and engage directly to accomplish breakthrough results. Sets priorities and makes effective plans to achieve key objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication - Able to work effectively across multiple team interfaces with a diverse group of engineers, vendors, and contractors. Able to be a team player. Able to articulate issues and provide updates to the Project Team.
Electrical Low voltage safety certified
Capability for reading and interpreting electrical power schematics and machine drawings.
Working knowledge of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
