Our Auburn, Maine site is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineers to join the team to support project needs across multiple operating departments. These resources will contribute to the overall expansion, maintenance, and step change manufacturing capability of the site. Successful candidates will break down technical barriers to success, guide project teams through innovation projects, and / bring new capacity to our site. The ideal candidate is someone who is curious, not afraid to challenge the status quo, and ultimately a team player.

Responsible to set and influence the strategic direction of the engineering work in the converting technology area including Technical Leadership. Acquires and applies advanced technical expertise in the field of converting technologies such as web handling, cutting, bonding, discrete patch placement, solid state formation, winding, adhesive or performance or fluid application and connects and networks across BUs/SoMs. Delivers visible business benefits through engineering solutions in the converting technology typically at project level within a category or BU across organizational boundaries. Innovates to provide discontinuous solutions or deliver projects according to success criteria and counsel management on developments in web converting technology. Owns, coaches and trains converting process technology as well as serve as mentor and key technical resource to other technologists and leads organizational growth including direct report coaching. Serve as mechanical lead for upstream initiatives through development, integration, and rollout activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Capable with Mechanical 3D CAD systems ideally with experience in Solid Edge or a desire to learn

  • Ability to navigate Spider (Teamcenter), the P&G PLCM system, or a desire to learn.

  • Strong leadership and influence to deliver projects in multi-functional organizations

  • Effective Communication Skills - Ability to communicate complex technical content clearly and succinctly

  • Operates with Discipline - Able to flow to the work and deliver with a scarcity mindset and a focus on results

  • Agility - Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, and cost
