Procter & Gamble Brand Management - P&G Target Team Digital Marketing Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

We are seeking a marketer with a strong digital and ecommerce background to join our marketing team on the P&G Target Team, based in Minneapolis, MN as a Customer Team Marketing Manager of Digital and ecommerce focusing on the success of all of P&Gs brands in the digital space at Target.

This marketing manager at P&G will lead the thinking on how to win in digital and ecommerce with breakthrough and best in class approaches to digital business. Winning together in digital is a top priority for both Target and P&G leadership, and the role will offer high visibility to both Target and P&G stakeholder. This role will require significant thought leadership and collaboration with marketers working across P&Gs product categories who will be executing according to this marketer’s guidance. Additionally, this role will call on key stakeholders at Target, one of P&G’s largest customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Target to Create Joint Value in Omni / Ecommerce / Digital:

  • Act as thought leader in digital to enable significant value creation for both
    Target and P&G. For example:
    -How can Target and P&G partner to drive new guests, more trips, market basket and sales via the acceleration of Shipt? -Partner with leaders at Target to create connections between key organizations which touch aspects of digital (data science, TMN, Site Merchandizing, etc.) -Work with agencies and Target to create the consumer messaging strategy for adoption/optimization -Execute programs with excellence, optimize and reiterate to create maximum value for Target and P&G -Lead the Digital/Omni Team -Partner with the P&G Digital Sales Director to lead the P&G Target Digital multi-functional team, consisting of sales, operations, marketing and finance. -eCommerce and Search Innovation and Strategy (initiative Base business) -Develop plans to win in digital, and create best in class ecommerce and search execution guidance, including paid and organic search strategy, product detail pages, search term identification and placement to enable turnkey execution -Partner closely with Search agency to constantly innovate, and drive effectiveness and efficiency in this space -Lead P&G’s digital content for Target.com and ratings and reviews onsite -Act as owner of the agency relationship, including expectation setting, process development, oversight and management.

1) Leadership: This role requires strong leadership of a multi-functional team. It will also require an ability to lead the thinking on P&G’s digital and ecommerce strategies. 2) Collaboration: Working seamlessly with multiple stakeholders internally,
cross functionally, and externally will be critical to success in this role. 3) Influencing skills: This role will require influencing Target, the customer, as well as P&G categories on joint value creation, process creation and best practice implementation. Ability to engage senior level external stakeholders at Target, the customer, will be critical to success. 4) Innovative thinking: This space is rapidly evolving and very complex. We need a candidate who can see through complexity to find solutions which drive the most value. 5) Digital expertise: We need someone who is able to bring outside best practices in and find ways to jointly create value for Target and P&G in the
digital space. This will require strong knowledge of digital trends, metrics, and capabilities.

Requirements:

-5 years of work experience required; CPG, Digital, DTC brand
experience preferred -A Bachelors degree -Strong analytical skills, ability to manipulate data from multiple sources, and understanding of digital metrics -Ability to relocate to Minneapolis, MN -Preferred: Experience with Target or other mass retail customer
